Gaga and I joined a networking group,.. 'Ye we know what you guys are gonna, lol!' :)... 'That's it's a scan and a fly by night kind of thing... But this one seems to be different from any other. One reason is we know family members that really benefited from the company. I mean we would not have joined in if we did not know anyone close enough that we could trust. After all there is always money involve when it comes to this line of work. You do have to dish out some money if you want to get to the honey. Hopefully everything turns out alright. Oh and guys.. Well the party was small, but great, my dad, my bro, my lil sis the birthday girl, and Gaga was there... Oh! and my lola and ate joy was also there... :) Ice cream, cake, spaghetti, barbecue, kinilaw, mango float, and all the good stuff to eat! :) lol... yum yum.,,, Good thing Gaga helped me with the groceries.. And I also said my sorry for the booboo i did when we were at the health care seminar. Really wasn't thinking at that time, and i was just kidding... It's been a rough day, Gaga and i went to a seminar about health care. The sad part was, when the speaker started his talk, he happened to ask Gaga what was her relation to me. He asked if we were life partners. To my surprise Gaga denied. :(... She shook her head showing or signifying that we were not in any relationship. What was i supposed to do when my girlfriend denies our relationship in public?. let's just say i spend the whole seminar boiling up in anger and wanted to pop right then and there. No work today, Gaga and I will try to sell U.S. goods from my mom to some of our friends. :) hehe... There's been a lot of it right now because the Balik-Bayan box just arrive. From XOXO wallets to V.S. and other brands, you name it. The plan is to sponsor a dinner on one of our friend's house, inviting a lot of people then show them the goods. :) hahaha! Watching the U.S. President Obama conference on CNN. Talking about the economy and answering a barraged of questions from different angles, well i think he did good. I mean Well. I leave in the Philippines but right now whatever happens anywhere else in the world affects all of us. So it's not just their war on economy. It's our war as well. We just hope we all pull through this one guys. Another issue right now is this Swine Flu Virus. Well if it becomes pandemic we're toast! Hopefully we get through that to, :( A sad day for us all. Guys will always be guys when it comes to fixing stuff. From banging the T.V. set to trying to pry open oven toasters. They just have to know them all, or pretend to know them all. :)... One area is plumbing. One time I asked Gaga to call a plumber because our bathroom faucet now has mind of its own. The super man that he is, tried to fixed the problem himself. He did actually, but around 12:00 o'clock midnight the faucet went nuts again, and this time it's too late to call a professional plumber. We had to wait till the next morning and i let Gaga help me pay the water bill when it arrived. Well good news to those who live in the Denver Colorado area! Mike the plumber is here! Denver Plumbing Professional plumbing at your service. Why gamble your plumbing needs to someone who doesn't really know what his doing when you can have a quality job done by a professional. Mike the plumber is ready to serve! :)...

I was suppose to go out with my friend and co-worker twiggy when Gaga told me through text message not to go out because he had a bad feeling about it. I tried to ask him for the exact reason why but all he said was he had a bad dream concerning me going out today. So i canceled my days out and told Gaga he had better come here to explain himself. After an hour or so he arrived with a bag of Tempura Crackers and some chocolate fudge cakes. He told me he just miss me... :)

The scenario; 'You try to comfort a friend who's boyfriend or husband left her for some blond. The sad part, your friend is 3 months pregnant!' The harder you try to convince her that it's all gonna be all right and that you are there for her and that her parents will understand, she just keep saying; "You do not know how i feel because it's not you who's in my shoes!" Well she is absolutely right! You do not know how she feels!... You guys may have been friends since grade school but for the first time you are helpless to help your friend. The thing is, she feels all alone right now, even if you're right there beside her. "What if you let other people help her?" Someone who feels and undergoes the same situation she's in right now.

With all the explanation given, some people just can't understand simple instruction. One watcher blames us nurses for the death of the patient. She tells us that we did not do out duty properly. That proper care was not given. Hummm.. Well how can you give care to someone who refuses to be cared for in the first place. A number of tests and standard procedures was signed not to be performed on the patient by the relatives themselves. How can we treat the patient if they do not want us to? Then they blame the death on the nurses. Unbelievable! Oh well! Just another day at work.. :)

Just got home from work, tired and hungry. When i opened the kitchen light there was food on the table, along with two lizards. :(... Who knows what else feasted on it, so i had to resort to canned beans. I just pour them in a bowl and into the microwave while i take a bath. One time i saw this guy with weird skin-tight pants and long shaggy hair wearing black Metalica T-shirt inside the jeep. Hanging around his neck was a necklace made of aluminum soft drink can rings. The one that you pull to get your soft drink can open. "You know?!".. Well Gaga probably saw my curiosity so he asked the guy what was it for. The guy told us that he was collecting it to make a wheelchair. Humm... After that incident Gaga and I search the web for programs regarding wheelchair community sites and how we could all help our physically disabled brothers and sisters out there. We saw one chat site:

"Perfect Piece"

For years now I've been sleeping on this old Spanish bed that I think belonged to my grand parents. I've even heard that one of them died on it, yayk! :)lol... Well finally the old bed gave up on me. Now Gaga and I are searching for a new bed. At first we looked at single beds just for me, but why hold back? We realized it's better to get one that is perfect for both of us. We both grew up in the Philippines so naturally it has to be made from wood and must look similar to old Spanish beds we've come to love. As usual surfing the net led us to this beautiful furniture site;
log furniture They have all kinds of stuff from tables, nightstands and our favorite furniture, beds. We saw one bed that's perfect for the job. Mainly sleeping. lol! :)... It's called 'Sunrise Top King Size Bed', made from Walnut frame and Maple accents. Looks a little like my grand parents' bed but with new modern design of the sun near head rest. Like Gaga always says about furniture; "If it's wood... It must be Good!" :)

Every day we go out to work, to the gym, or to our clubs and favorite coffee shops. Just doing our daily routine and letting time simply pass us by. Not sensing danger until the last minute. "What am i talking about?"... Well all you have to do is turn on the T.V. set and you'll see. it's right in front of us. Our world is becoming more and more dangerous by the second. And so far most of us only see it in the daily news. But to some, well make it to many; "It's a jungle out there!" From Illegal drugs to drive by shoot outs to terrorism and don't forget sex offenders. So long have we all been victimize by sex offenders. Might not be directly, but I'm sure we all know someone who was or still is a victim. We can call the cops right? But will they be there on time? We are talking seconds here, life or death if it comes to that. As a health care practitioner, as always... "Prevention is still and always better than cure!" What can we do you ask? Well me and Gaga have been doing net research and surprisingly there are a lot of sites out there that offers information and other resources to help prevent or stop sex offenders. One such site is

Gaga have this wireless mouse which we use when we're out on cafes. The good thing bout it, it's wireless. The bad thing bout it, it runs on batteries and it doesn't come with a charger. So when we're at home, we just leave it hanging around. Anyways we've seen the 'Watchmen' movie. It's OK i guess, not really the action movie we've all been expecting. It's more in the mystery side of the yard. We think it's better left in the comic books. Just goes to show not all comic book looks better in the movies. And it's really not timely. Whew! Glad that's over... What a week! Gaga's cousins left for the states today. They were cool n all but they weren't feeling that hot bout the weather here in the Philippines. A couple of them got sick, must be because of the humidity. They just can't handle the heat, specially now that it's summer. Well, we went to this beach resort to cool down and for some R&R.. woohoo!.. The moment we got there, everyone attacked the swimming pool like it was lechon or something. lol :)... Whew! It's officially summer... Some days are just too hot to handle. Gaga and I just came from the electrician to have two of our electric fans repaired. We used it for long periods of time that it finally gave up on us. lol! :)... And another thing, so many mosquitoes everywhere. Maybe it's because of the weather. Hot hot hot... Well we are planning for a beach trip again! woop woop! :) All we need now is to convince our friends to come with us, mainly to share the expense,, lol! That's one good thing about summer. I remember my high school days, when i used to save my allowance for months just to have enough money to buy something that i really want. One time it was 'Cool Water'. For those who is not familiar with it, it's heaven in a bottle . I saw this site in the net that has a lot of scents when it comes to perfumes, Talk Perfume is simply fantastic. With every spray, it is like you've just gotten out of the shower. The scent will last for hours and it will undoubtedly turn heads. Even my crush at that time who once didn't know i exist suddenly knows my name. It cost me a fortune just to get one bottle. I wonder what it cost now. humm. I sure miss a piece of heaven! O.o woot! :)...

It's that day again when you do the laundry while your hubby is watching his favorite show on the tube and sucking on booze all day. Leaving you with mountains of clothes to wash... "On you own!" Well fret not coz I have got a sure fire solution to make your useless man beg you to do all the work! .. 'wink!' :) Your reading it right, "He's gonna beg you to do the laundry himself!" Like little puppy dog you do have to give him a treat after a job well done... Here's how:

Set the mood. Wear something that show some skin, a mini-T and shorts will do. Make sure he's looking while you haul those dirty clothes to the laundry room. When your done with the wash cycle call him over, make whatever excuse just to get him to come to you. When you get his attention sit on top of the machine and pull your hubby close to you, press start and spin your hubby dry! :) The next time wash day comes hes gonna help or better do yet it himself, just to get to the spin dry part! Happy washing! :)

Every noon time around 12pm black-out comes to the City of Davao. First we thought it was just for few days, but now it seems every day we loose about an hour worth of power. I just found out it's for the 'Earth Day celebration'. To help mother Earth save energy... That or it's another plot by the rebels to destabilize the government. Just came from the mall with Gaga, we had dinner at KFC, the Meltz was good as long as it's still warm. Anyway on our way home we saw this boy on a bike crossing the street without even looking both ways. He was almost hit by a Jeep. The driver yelled at him to look before crossing next time. "If that kid got hit, there will be no next time", I said to myself. The kid didn't even appeared scared. He just went on his way. Call it innocence or ignorance. I wish his parents taught him how to cross the street before sending him on his own.

Economic crisis is here all right, but you could hardly see it in the streets of Davao City during night time; 'There are bars everywhere!' From the big night clubs to the low down convenience store/bar. Pinoys will always find a way to re-invent things specially when booze is concerned. Even some gas stations have a little space around the corner for those who want to fill up on gas and beer. You can even put a sign in front of your house that says; "Beer 4 Sale" and put some tables and chairs. Within minutes you'll have your own mini bar! :)... Just don't let things get out of hand, or the police will be on your door step. "Mabuhay ka Pinoy!"

"The Dog and The Frog"

I was about to welcome Gaga at the gate when i saw Joker crouch in front of what appears to be a huge Bullfrog... Sniffing it and touching it with her paw. If i was the frog i would be screaming my head off; "Don't eat me!"... :) Well Joker didn't eat it. But i bet the frog froze, in fear of its life. lol... :) In the meantime I did not notice Gaga staring at me with a silly grin on his face. He told me; "Am i gonna have to climb the gate while you stare at them all day?"... I let him in... lol :) cya guys!

"U.S. Embassy Trip"

It's been awhile since we wrote something, me and Gaga went to Manila to apply for a tourist Visa. We left Davao City about 6 A.M. last March 15, it took us about 1hour and 45minutes to arrived in Manila. As expected the traffic was terrible. If it wasn't too hot to walk we would have. We spent the night at his uncle's house. It was an old Spanish house and a number of Filipino movies have already been shot there, because the house was still well preserved until now. Actually it was kind of creepy because most of the movies that was done there were actually horror movies... ':)lol!' Just imagine!.. Just renewed my driver's license, all i can say is that the process has really change for the better, all the automation helped in speeding up the whole process. From the required drug test, medical checkup and up to the license renewal process itself just took me under one hour. Well i guess our taxes are put to good use, sometimes... :) lol... Congrats LTO!!!

Shopping with Gaga has always been a pain, I can't move without him commenting on something, weather it's about how long it's gonna take or am i really gonna buy something or not?... lol' :) When it comes to shopping, Girls and Guys really don't mix.

Guys: While still at home guys already know what to buy, like a shirt... then he goes to the mall, grabs the shirt he wants then maybe on the way home grabs a six pack, and play dark orbit back at home. That's it!

Girls: Goes to the mall, grabs a mocha frappe, hops to all the boutique, window shop all day with the girls, manicure, hair salon, the whole nine yards. then if there's still time, go to sing-along bar and sing the night away, past 2am calls Gaga to pick me up... :)

That's why I can't take Gaga shopping with me, well the only good thing in taking along gaga is i have someone to carry the bags... lol ...;) "wink"

Earlier this evening while walking home, me and gaga saw this tree that appeared to be struck by lightning. Well its on fire so must be lightning right? There's this streak or trail of fire on one side of the tree. Maybe 30 minutes had pass before we realized we were staring on that tree for quiet some time now. A tricycle driver also stop to join us in this one in a lifetime show. :)

Where can one find the best coffee in town? Not too strong and not too sweet... Must have just the right kick of caffeine to jump start your day without giving you a stomach upset... We're in Davao City Philippines and so far the good coffee houses only opens at night, that's odd!.. Some people love to have coffee after work just to unwind maybe or just to have something to do while hanging out with friends. Some do it just for show. I Know people who really doesn't like coffee but just drink the stuff so they get in the crowd. Nothing is wrong bout that i guess, but i hope some coffee houses opens at day to when we really need the stuff and not just for show! ":)

It was late at night. Gaga opened the gate of the poorly lit garage, a freezing gust of wind swept pass my face. As we slowly work our way in, we could hear the trees crying, as if to tell us not to go any further. Further up ahead we could see two yellow dots that look like fiery eyes that seem to follow our every move. Gaga took the keys from me and tried to get the door open. As i happen to glance behind me and moving towards gaga, something grabbed my foot and stopped me from my tracks. I manage to get myself free but some of the slime clung on my shoe. When Gaga opened the door and the living room light, we where horrified at the sight!.. Yes it was dog poo... "Joker strikes Again!" :)

Just got home from work, while i was trying to open the light for the kitchen, my fingers caught something... hummm,,, smooth... before i could react it crawled up my arm and all i could do is wake half the neighborhood with my scream... yes it was a roach that flew around the room as i finally manage to open the light... then it disappeared somewhere near the sofa. After about a minute or two the phone started ringing... My neighbors started calling me just to make sure i was OK. Well that's one way to make sure if your neighbors care about you. :) Thanx guys!:)...

Last Monday, January 26, 2009, I noticed my baby who is still 2 months old started pooping bloody mucoid so I decided to rush her to the nearest hospital (North Gen. Hosp.) for emergency check-up. Her attending physician's first diagnosis was ameobiasis. Later part of that day, her doctors found a sausage like mass in her lower left abdomen. She was then referred to a pediatric surgeon to examine her condition. I got too scared when I heard of the word "surgeon" for it means operation is needed. When the pediatric surgeon came to see my little princess, I got scared even more for the pedia won't go in to help her instead he referred her to another pediatric surgeon who is affliated in Cebu Doctor's Hospital. We were then transferred through an ambulance to Cebu Doc. for further examination & treatment. On our way to Cebu Doc, my baby started throwing up all the milk that I fed her that day which made me even more scared and pity my baby for I can't do anything to relieve her from discomfort.

During her admission in North General Hospital, her Maxicare card was swiped where I signed a Letter of Entitlement. When we were transferred to Cebu Doctors Hospital, same thing goes, her card was swiped again for her accommodation and initial treatment just like the normal process of admitting an insured member for Maxicare. Although I have only P500 left in my wallet, am quite relieve for she is my dependent and I know that Maxicare's going to take care of her hospitalization.

The following morning, my baby's pediatrician and pediatric surgeon examined her and decided for immediate operation. I got frightened for my baby is too fragile, imagine she's just 2 months old & will be facing a major operation?! I am afraid for she might not be able to make it but her doctors said that its the only way to save her so I just signed the waiver for them to perform a straight-cut surgical operation on her upper abdomen. Her schedule in the operating room was at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. An hour before that, I am surprised to see a Maxicare Roving Personnel, in the person of Ivan, came in to our room in the said hospital informing us (me, the father of my baby, my mother, my sister and her friend) that she has no insurance coverage for Maxicare. He mentioned that my baby is an additional dependent and has a congenital condition therefore she has to wait for 12 months for her to be covered with the plan. I was so overwhelmed with the information I received from him. I felt so down for I don't know where to get money for the down payment before the operation can be performed. I felt so helpless seeing my baby dying due to excessive loss of blood excreted together with her stool. I am anguished for what had happened to us that day. I tried to calm down to think of better things just to save the baby. Good thing, our doctors advised us to seek assistance with our HR so immediately reported the issue to Janet Borgonia of HR Cebu. She said that she escalated my issue to her boss, Maricel Amores. I waited for a response from the HR personnel while my baby's operation was put on hold because Maxicare will not cover the said surgical operation. Janet got back to me like about an hour after I called the office but she has no good news. She informed me that my baby can't be covered because she is a newly enrolled dependent with a congenital condition.

I can't describe in writing the feeling I felt that day. I wanted to save my baby as soon as possible but her account is put on hold due to the issue with Maxicare. I was alarmed for anything can happen to my baby who is already very pale due to excessive blood loss and worse is, the hospital didn't start the blood transfusion for we have no down payment made yet in the hospital's blood bank. I really can't imagine why on earth did it happened to me when I comply with all the requirements asked by HR during the enrolment process. I enrolled my baby on time to our health care provider not only to ensure her safety but to have a cashless consultation and hospitalization but what happened was ironic and very tragic specially seeing my baby suffered because of someone else's negligence! Good thing the billing department gave a clearance for the operation to start that day when I begged them to just save my baby first and I'll just settle the bills later after the operation.

At 6:00 PM that same day, I kissed my baby good luck at the front door of the operating room with all hopes and prayers for her successful operation. In the chapel, I cried a river while continuously praying for my baby's safety. In God's mercy, my baby was saved after 3 hours in the operating room. She was brought to the recovery room for another 2 hours before she was brought back to our private room.

The following morning, the hospital started billing me for almost P50,000.00, have nothing on my wallet so what I did is I contacted my friends and borrowed money from them just to make a deposit. Everything that happened to me the other day still didn't sink in. I tried to ask for help from our HR but they are only good at lip service and they're not helping anyway not even a single investigation on my case.

Knowing that HR didn't support me all the way and that Maxicare would only look for (dumb) loopholes in order to escape from their responsibility, I started fighting for my baby's benefit that has been eluded from her. I started gathering all the documents needed from the hospital to Maxicare including their website and other pertinent documents available in the office. I reviewed the pamphlet for eTelecare Global Solutions' Maxicare Coverage Plan for Aug. 1, 2008 to July 31, 2009 (available in the clinic). I focused on the section Additional Concessions and to quote: "Pre-existing illness conditions - all newly enrolled dependents of a newly enrolled principal members, pre-existing conditions are not covered on the 1st year of coverage, subject to 12 month waiting period." Now, according to pediatric surgeon, Dr. Rene Rafols, and Dr. Alice Militante, my baby's case is not congenital or pre-existing rather its an acquired condition.

I tried explaining this information to our HR, broker & Maxicare hoping that they would cover for the hospitalization but another reason that drove me very very mad on Maxicare. That certain Ivan from Roving Team still didn't approve the hospitalization coverage for according to him, my baby's case is dreaded and that it has no coverage not until 1 year! At the back of my head, I know that my baby's case is not a dreaded one and i can support it with pertinent documents. In fact she is perfectly fine now. No medicine maintenance and no follow-up operation needed. ITS PRETTY OBVIOUS THAT MAXICARE IS TRYING TO OUTSMART ME, MAKING ME FEEL DUMB THAT I DON'T KNOW THE TERMS OF SERVICE AND INSURANCE POLICY JUST TO ESCAPE FROM PAYING THE HOSPITAL BILL AMOUNTING TO ALMOST P120,000.00 PLUS.

At present, my baby is already discharged from the hospital but am sad for the only lot title we had was used as a collateral for the hospital's assurance that we will pay for the remaining balance on our account. After all, am very blessed for my baby has recovered faster than her doctors have expected. I know and am certain that Maxicare is liable for all these anguish I had and for denying my child's benefit. Am going to fight all the way just to give justice for my baby.

I wish you all would share with me in this struggle by offering a petition prayer for the success of all my endeavors in seeking justice for my baby. And am looking forward to having a new health care provider in Aug. 1, 2009 . NOT MAXICARE FOR I DON'T WANT THAT SOMEDAY THIS EXPERIENCE MIGHT HAPPEN TO YOU OR YOUR FAMILY!

Earlier this evening, gaga fetched me from the hospital and before going home we went to this burger joint hoping to get something to eat. When we arrive there this guy slammed the door as he was going out of the place. Apparently he was so drunk, you could smell him a mile away. The security guard tried to assist him by calling a cab. He was lucky he did not end up in jail... Or maybe he did,,, :) Anyway got the food and went home. Watch a couple of shows on the tube and here i am... nyt world! :)

The other day about 7 pm, Gaga's little brother came home with a bloody nose and is missing one tooth. he claimed that bats stole his tooth... kids today... He said that he and some of his friends went to get some of our neighbor's mangoes with their slingshots, when bats attack them. They ran around like crazy crashing to each other. Resulting to his injuries. Hummm... I sure miss being a kid.

Ate Joy and ate Nene must be cooking Adobo. I hope they made plenty so I can bring some to work. Oh! How i miss my mother's Adobo... Nothing really compares to my mom's Adobo. She does this thing so that the meat absorbs all the juices and flavor of the different spices she put in it. And makes it so that the pork is tender enough that it just melts in your mouth.... Last night me and gaga saw this movie; "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", it's the one with Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett. It was ok i guess... OK,,, honestly It's like this another movie; "The Big Fish". Just another fairy tale gone mega out of proportion. I mean it's just my opinion, i haven't read the book and all,,, if there is a book. I mean this guy was born old right? Then he has all this diseases that came supposedly with his old age. Even if he became younger some of those diseases like the cataract would still be there. How could it just vanished? OK! ok! it's just a movie but i just hope they get their facts straightened out you know?.. Oh well... Let us hear what you think you guys! :)

Just got off the phone, a neighbor of mine just got burglarize. Good thing nobody got hurt. It's the third case this month. Now how am i able to sleep at night knowing that I'm not even safe in my own home,,, hummm... So far all of the houses that were victimize didn't have any dogs at all or any sort of burglar alarm. And It seem to happen about 2pm while nobody is at home or sleeping. Good thing i have my Joker to guard the house for me. Most of the time gaga sleeps over to keep me company. I feel sorry for my other neighbors. I think it's about time we organize a neighborhood watch of some sort. Hopefully that will solve our problems.

Death by Rheumatic Hearth Disease... A 20 year old patient of mine just died. Again just another day at the hospital. Some make it through, some don't. A funny feeling always come over me every time one of our patient dies. Like butterflies in my tummy, or even a mouse or a rat. Some say it's meant to be or it's the will of God. While some say it's his own fault because he did not take good care of himself. The point is the person is dead. Life goes on for his love ones, well after the mourning part is over. Are we really insignificant? Just a speck of dust in this universe? Oh well! time to sleep...

In May, 1886, Coca Cola was invented by Doctor John Pemberton a pharmacist from Atlanta, Georgia. John Pemberton concocted the Coca Cola formula in a three legged brass kettle in his backyard. The name was a suggestion given by John Pemberton's book keeper Frank Robinson.

It is said coke was discovered when DeLuise, a 19th century American soda jerk accidentally hit the soda water spigot, adding carbonated water to the syrup in the glass. My friend told me about this new shop that sells cute personalize shirts. Then after that we'll pass by this booth that sells french fries. The Extra Big Ones. It's a little pricey but its worth it. Then off to the movies.

I saw this middle aged guy sitting on a gutter outside a local mall with a cage filled with three cute puppies. I told gaga to ask how much the puppies were? The guy told us hes selling it for eight hundred pesos each. If i had that kind of money on me i still would not buy those pups. Though they are cute and all. They're not even pure breeds. Well i would imagine pure breeds cost more but at least they're pure blooded pups. Come to think of it, is it legal for that guy to sell those pups outside a mall.? hummm... I hope they're not stolen.

They Won't Be Home For Christmas

Little Girls And Grannies

Little girls and grannies,
A combination that's hard to beat.
They won't let me grow old,
they keep me on my feet.

They stay up late at night
and pretend they're all grown up.
And I pretend that I don't hear
when they turn the stereo up.
I know they're dancing in my heels
with the music wall to wall.
I just can't make them go to sleep
they're having such a ball.

I let them sleep in late
and serve breakfast at noon.
they're still my little angels
no matter what they do.

I let them use my make-up
and try out brand new recipes.
I take them where they want to go
and let them be what they want to be.

We have so much fun
and I love them oh so much.
There's nothing more comforting
than a little girls touch.

I let them do lots of things
that I never would my own,

Dear God, are You still awake? Have You got a minute or two? You're pretty good at understanding, And I really need to talk to You.

You see, Mommy came to tuck me in, like she does every night. I was trying to play a trick on her, Since she can't see without the light.

I was going to close my eyes and pretend to be asleep. But when I heard her crying, I didn't dare let out a peep.

She started talking to you, God. Did You hear the things she said? Could You hear what she was saying as she stood beside my bed?

Why would Mommy be so sad? I wondered just what I had done, and then I began to remember it all as she named them one by one.

This morning we worked in the garden, but, honest, I really didn't know that if I picked all those little yellow blooms the tomatoes wouldn't grow!

Charlie and I were trying to be helpers, 'Cause I know that's what Mommy needs. But I don't think she was too happy with us when we pulled up carrots instead of weeds.

Mommy said we should stop for the day, she decided we had helped quite enough. I sure had worked up an appetite...I didn't know gardening was so tough!

We had peanut butter and jelly for lunch and I shared too much, I guess. But I didn't realize until I was done that Charlie had made such a mess.

Mommy said she needed a nap, she had one of her headaches today. She told me to keep an eye on my sister and find something quiet to play.

Well, God, do You remember all those curls you gave my little sister Jenny? We played barber shop very quietly...And now, well, she doesn't have any.

Boy, was Mommy mad at me. I had to go sit on my bed. She said never to cut "people hair" again. I guess I'll practice on Charlie instead.

We sat and watched poor old Albert, I just knew he must be so bored going round and round in the same place all day, wouldn't You think so, Lord?

I didn't think it would hurt to let him out for a while. I mean, mice need exercise, too. By the way, have You seen Albert lately? He's been sort of missing since two.

Mommy sent us outside for the rest of the day. She said we needed fresh air. But when Daddy came home she told him he was trying to get something out of her hair.

We thought Mommy needed cheering up, so we decided to brighten her day. But, God, did You see the look on her face when we gave her that pretty bouquet?

We had gotten a little bit dirty, so Mommy said to get in the tub. "Use soap this time," she reminded, "and please don't forget to scrub."

Charlie didn't like the water too much, but I lathered up real good. I knew Mommy would be so proud of me for cleaning up like I should.

I went downstairs to the table, but during dinner it started to rain. I'd forgotten to turn off the water, it seems, and I hadn't unplugged the drain!

I decided right then it was just about time to start getting ready for bed, when Mommy said, "It's sure been a long day." And her face began turning all red.

I lay there listening to Mommy as she told You about our day. I thought about all of the things I had done and I wondered what I should say.

I was just about to tell her that I'd been awake all along, and ask her to please forgive me for all of those thing I'd done wrong.

When suddenly, I heard her whisper, "God, forgive me for today for not being more understanding when those problems came my way. For not handling situations in the way You wanted me to. For getting angry and losing my temper, things I know You don't want me to do.

And, God, please give me more patience. Help me make it through another day, I'll do better tomorrow, I promise. In Jesus' name I pray."

Wiping her eyes, she kissed me and knelt here beside my bed. She stroked my hair for a little while. "I love you, precious", Mommy said.

She left the room without ever knowing that I'd been awake all the time. And God, could we make it our little secret? You know, just Yours and mine?

I'm sorry I was so much trouble today, I really didn't mean to be. Daddy says it's tough being a kid sometimes, but I think it's harder on Mommy than me.

Well, goodnight, God. Thanks for listening. It's sure nice to know You're there. I feel so much better when I talk to You 'cause You always hear my prayers.

And I'll do better tomorrow, I promise. Just You wait and see! I'll try not to be so much trouble again. But, God, please give more patience to Mommy...Just in case!

A lot of people sell just about anything these days. Mostly goods from the mainland. I don't know about you but as for me, they're not really of good quality. They call these stuff imitations or replicas of the original brands. In short their pirated stuff. Yes they cost a lot less than their original counterpart but some items break easily. One may think that you get a lot of stuff for less money but in the long run, your really getting less. And besides there is a reason they sell those items super cheap right? :) Because they won't last untill your next birthday.

I hope gaga arrives before it starts raining. It's a little dark outside. hummm... Hey! I saw this cute short story on the web. Let me share it with you. :)

Pancakes

Six year old Brandon decided one morning to fix his parents pancakes. He found a big bowl and spoon, pulled a chair to the counter, opened the cupboard and pulled out a heavy flour canister, spilling it on the floor. He scooped some of the flour into the bowl with his hands, mixed in most of a cup of milk and added some sugar, leaving a floury trail on the floor which by now had a few tracks left by his kitten.

Brandon was covered with flour and getting frustrated. He wanted this to be something very good for mom and dad, but it was getting very bad. He didn't know what to do next, weather to put it all into the oven or on the stove. (and he didn't know how the stove worked!)

Suddenly he saw his kitten licking from the bowl of mix and reached to push her away, knocking the egg carton on to the floor. Frantically he tried to clean up this monumental mess but slipped on the eggs, getting his pajamas white and sticky. And just then he saw dad standing at the door.

All he'd wanted to do was something good, but he'd made a terrible mess. He was sure a scolding was coming, maybe even a spanking. But his father just watched him. Then walking through the mess, he picked up his crying son, hugged and loved him, getting his own pajamas white and sticky in the process.

That's how God deals with us. We to do something good in life, but it turns into a mess. Our marriage gets all sticky or we insult a friend or we can't stand our job or our health goes sour. Sometimes we just stand there in tears because we can't think of anything else to do. That's when God picks us up and loves us and forgives us. Even though some of out mess gets all over him.

But just because we might mess up, "we can't stop trying to make pancakes," for God, or for others. Sooner or later we'll get it right, and then they'll be glad we did. "So don't stop making those pancakes!"

The first day of December... More and more carolers rang the doorbell hoping for an audience and some spare change. Some are well prepared with their costumes and instruments, but some look like they just came out of bed and went straight to your house just to bark a few notes and ask for money. Some are even stinking drunk. Oh well... It is Christmas... :)

Death by sandwich with all those artery clogging ingredients. :) ...Well as long as he makes me a slice...

VIDEOKE NYT WITH HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS

Gaga fetched me from work at about 4PM, then he accompanied me to this reunion that me and my high school friends planed for weeks. We went to this restaurant fronting a lake to celebrate one of my friend's birth day. After a hefty diner we spent the rest of the evening at a local videoke bar. I really gave it my all when it was my turn to sing. Unfortunately, my all was not good enough. :)

It was a very busy day. The hospital was full of patients with cases ranging from stomach ache to hearth disease. The rooms were packed and some patients were already on the hallway... And the smell, you don't want to know. Oh well... It's all in a days work. I just hope we get our Christmas bonus. There is this rumor that we don't get one. :(

A patient suffering from heart disease died during my shift. I've seen it happen lots of times but i could never get use to it. I always wonder how it feels like,.. Does it hurt? Do you see a bright light? Oh well! I guest we all get to experience it when our time comes. Good night for now...

Anyway, I got a new bag from this boutique that sells imported goods from Thailand. It was a good price considering the quality and design. I'm sure it will look good with my red blouse.

I just got off the phone, in this rainy night, all one could do is order out. I just hope the delivery guy arrives on time. I'm starving... There's nothing in the fridge that does not need cooking... Except my brother's two week old sandwich...
